Shipping & Returns (Forge)
This policy applies to physical goods produced by Forge, SA-HR’s fabrication studio (3D printed and laser-cut items). For software and subscription services, see the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
Lead times
Because most Forge work is made-to-order, the lead time depends on what you’re ordering. Typical ranges:
- Standard catalogue items: 5–10 business days from order confirmation.
- Custom orders: 10–20 business days from final approval of specifications. See the Custom Order Policy.
We’ll confirm the expected dispatch window at the time of your order.
Shipping
We ship across the European Union using reputable tracked carriers. Outside the EU is available on request.
- Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on size, weight, and destination.
- Risk of loss or damage passes to the buyer on dispatch, unless applicable law provides otherwise (e.g. consumer sales under EU law).
- Delivery estimates are not guarantees. Customs or carrier delays are beyond our control.
Customs, duties & taxes
EU destinations: VAT is included where applicable. Outside the EU: the buyer is responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs fees levied at destination.
Inspection on delivery
Please inspect your order on arrival. If the packaging is visibly damaged, note this with the carrier before signing.
Returns — manufacturing defects
You have 14 calendar days from receipt to report a manufacturing defect. A manufacturing defect means the item does not match its agreed specifications or is structurally faulty due to our production.
To report a defect:
- Email info@sarchitectshr.com with your order number.
- Include clear photos or a short video showing the defect.
- Do not dispose of the item until we respond.
If the defect is confirmed, we will at our option:
- Repair the item, or
- Replace the item free of charge.
Return shipping for confirmed defects is at our cost. We do not issue cash refunds for defective items — our remedy is repair or replacement, which is consistent with what is reasonable for bespoke fabrication work.
Returns — custom / made-to-order items
Custom work is produced to order and cannot be resold. For this reason, we do not accept returns on custom orders for reasons of change-of-mind, miscommunication of requirements, or post-approval specification changes. The 14-day manufacturing-defect inspection above still applies.
Returns — standard catalogue items
If you are an EU consumer purchasing a standard (non-custom) catalogue item for personal use, you may have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Consumer Rights Directive. Send us a return notice within 14 days of receipt; ship the item back (at your cost) in its original unused condition; we will refund the product price within 14 days of receiving the item back.
Rights of withdrawal do not apply to custom, personalised, or made-to-specification goods.
Damaged in transit
If an item arrives damaged, report it within 48 hours of delivery with photos. We will assess and, if applicable, file a carrier claim and arrange a replacement or repair.
Warranty
Forge items are warranted against manufacturing defects for 12 months from delivery, subject to normal use and handling. Wear-and-tear, misuse, and third-party modification are excluded.
